Thagas  village 

Thagas village is located in the north of Pakistan the village is situated in District Guanche of Baltistan there are three Sub-divisio0n in Ghanche the third Sub-division is Masherbrum the sub-division is called Masherbrum because the Masherbrum peak is located in this sub-division thagas village is the head-quarter of sub-division Masherbrum. Thagas is covered by high mountains from its four sides and this village is look like an angel.

this village is very beautiful in every season specially in summer the village reached at its peak beauty many tourists from different cites of Pakistan visits the village and they are so impressed by the beauty of nature . 

in winter the  village is covered by snow and the view is so beautiful to see but in winter the temperature decrease very much and also there is no source of winter tour if  the government take a necessary action for winter tour then many people from country side and from countries will visit this place and it will be benefit for the people of the village and region and also it will give the government to increase th revenue generation 

the people of this village are very hospitable just like other place of baltistan .people living a simple life though the life is very hard in mountain but they living a happy life with one another.

the main source of income of this villagers are hostling, many of the people went to other cities of pakistan and work as a cook and cheif of the hotel . if we talk about baltistan then there also many other village troo that there source of income is hoteling , 

when we talk about education of this village the there is one high school and three meddle-schools and also its has one private school and one government college . the litercity rate of this village is 95% according to the survey of 2015.
